About the Competition

Welcome to the Robot Design Competition, where creativity meets technology!
Participants will use Tinkercad—a free 3D modeling tool—to design robots inspired by the 12 Chinese Zodiac animals. Whether it’s the agility of the Rat or the strength of the Ox, this is your chance to bring those traits to life through design.
This competition is free of charge and supported by volunteers passionate about STEM and cultural education. Outstanding entries may receive bonus prizes and 3D print opportunities!

Who Can Join?
Students from elementary to high school
Parent-child teams encouraged
Individuals or teams of up to 3
What You Need to Do

1. Design your robot using Tinkercad
2. Record a short video (under 3 minutes) explaining your design:
Formats accepted:
Hand-drawn sketches + explanation
PPT with design logic
(Optional) 3D printed model photos or clips
3. Submit your project including:
Tinkercad project link
Video file
Attachments (sketches, photos, etc.)
